A huge perk of this recipe is that if you’ve got the prep done, you can have these nachos in and out of the oven in no time. Meal-Prep Pulled Pork Shoulder with Red Chile Sauce is a great protein to meal prep and have on hand. It doesn’t hurt to have Citrus Crema, Black Beans, and Pickled Jalapeños ready to go too.

Most of the time, when these recipes are made, you have a little bit remaining, so it’s an ideal option when you want to use up leftovers. Pulled pork nachos work for a family dinner, a casual get-together, or gameday spread. We designed this recipe to be built on a quarter sheet pan, so it could be a complete meal for two or apps for six. Whether you’re making them for two or twenty, this recipe easily scales up or down without a hitch.

Meal-Prep Pulled Pork Shoulder with Red Chile Sauce: This pulled pork is rich, smoky, and tender, thanks to the Red Chile Sauce. Nachos are a great way to showcase this easy braised pork recipe.

Tortilla Chips: These are the base of the nachos, providing crunch and a neutral flavor that pairs well with the bold toppings. Opt for thick, sturdy chips that can handle the weight of the toppings without turning soggy.

Shredded Cheese: A good melting cheese, like cheddar jack or a Mexican blend, is essential for the gooey, stringy texture we all crave on nachos.

Citrus Crema: This adds a tangy richness to the recipe. A drizzle of citrus crema elevates the flavor and gives the dish a little more complexity.
